An aquaintance tells me I would not believe how handy an electric golf cart can be around the farm. Saving steps between house & barn/shop, goin' to pasture, checking fence, cows, &c., &c. Any of you have experience to support this claim? Any recommendations, DOs & DON'Ts? |

| | I use a ATV, 250cc, two wheel drive, air cooled for my around the farm horse. Couldn't do with out it. The larger all terrain wheels work good on my rough and sometimes very muddy place. Recommend that you compare a ATV to a Golf cart. Lots of ag stuff made to fit a ATV. Just my opinion. Have a good one. |

| | For just running around checking on stuff in the farm yard. Maybe a fence or something a used golf cart is great. They are quite and comfortable. But if you are really getting into some bad areas with mud and big ruts, you want something eles. Personally I prefer old jeeps to ATV's or Golf Carts. I restore jeeps as a hobby and have found them to be one of the best run abouts for the farm. My last one is 1956 Willys. Can't beat em. |
