Hello, I'm an European farmer and I have a Case-IH 1056 XL. It's a great tractor and it has an International engine. I never had a problem with it.
Last week i went to my dealer to look for a new tractor. As I can see, now Case-IH power the tractor with different engines:

The 2100 series with a Same engine.
The Cx series with Perkins engine.
The Mx and Magnum series with Cummins engine.
The CVX series with Sisu engine.

What happened with the International engines?
Are this engines as good as the International?

I don't know if i will buy one of this.

Let me get this straight. You are critical of Deere for designing a robust drive train?

I been there done that Not only worked on red but green to I know what the so called bad red ones can do Like my brather said don't judge my tractor by what yours can do by judge you tractor by what mine can. Back home two brothers bought a 4010 and a 560 at the same time never had a good word for the 560 but if they only need to use one tractor they used the 560 and that great 4010 set in the shed all clean and green how could the deer think need repair.

Logic rarely outweights emotions in the decision process.I understand good old Dad, Grandpa or Uncle Bert had another brand. That alone makes it "best".Wouldn't be human nature if it didn't.
If the IH was so wonderfull & the JD inferior how did Deere brainwash all those "dumb farmers"( no disrespect) into more purchases?
A happy customer goes back & makes repeat purchases. They do the Manufacture a huge favour of giving for free the most effective kind of adverising, "word of mouth".
How pray tell did Deere tractor & equipment sales steadily take a larger market share over time?
Why does used Deere equipment command the top dollar at auctions?
Not saying Deere is perfect. They have laid a few eggs & made some questionable business choices. We had a 2010 boat anchor. They have however done enough things right more often than the other manufactures.
In fact they had better get off thier butts and watch out for the latest in the CIH line.

If I could understand why people buy Deer I could understand many things that's the point I have worked on deer as well as IH also been in the field and know what IH is very capable of doing Deer can not stand the long hours with the big Horses that IH can deer only a few minutes at tractor pull.so why do people go back for more Deer.

I don't know where, when or what Deere's you have been looking at?
Farmers are purchasing Deere machinery because it is cost competive, reliable, general ease of repair & service, factory support & resale value.
Sounds like somebody has been pouring sand into the inards of the Deere's in your area.
A 100HP CIH & a 100HP Deere with the same size, brand & inflation of tires, same total weight, same front/rear ballance, same hitch height & length. Maintain them both as per factory specs & operate at the same speed. They will pull within a few lbs of each other.
It comes down to durability, $$$ now & latter, relationship with your dealer, fuel efficiency, pressure from friends & family which tractor you like.

The best way to maintain long term value, modest initial cost, ease of service, availability of parts & service.A financially sound company & an economical high torque engine is to purchase a John Deere.

The 300 and 400 series motors were retained by Navistar which is the renamed International truck div. The DT466 is still in production. The Cummins motors have an excelent reputation, the Perkins a very good one but sound awful when they run or did not familiar with newer units, do not know the others.

While the 466 is a great motor, the cummins and perkins reputuation for durability and quality speaks for itself.

look at the Agco Allis tractors they use a Navistar 530 and that is the big brother to the 466 which sounds and runs similar to the 466 all though if you want pure muscle go with a cummins they have a lot more Torque compared to a Navistar but the navistar is very good on fuel usage i think

the ihc/navistar engines will out lug and out pull the cummins any day.the cummins is overrated on power and the ih is underrated. the cummins is a good engine and durable, but wont be close to a ih 300-400 d/dt engine in the raw power department.the ih also burns a little less fuel.ive got lots of experence with both engines.

AGCO dropped the Navistar a couple of years ago.
