My white 2-105 is overheating the hydrolic fluid. The pump is working all the time to keep up the preasure.I know it must have a internal leak. How can i find out which of the parts is leaking without removeing them all.The pump seems to be the first thing to get hot.

Does this tractor have any added on equipment. Loader or backhoe or remote valves of any sorts?

No i was pulling a disc not useing the hydrolic. The hydrolic will heat anytime the engine runs fast. The pump is smokeing when the light comes on.The cooler is hot too along with everything else.I had to replace one hose because it melted.

Since your hydraulic system is a closed system, can you get your hands on a flow meter? If you can plumb into the main hydraulic line and with just the tractor running and not moving, check to see if there is oil flowing from the pump. If there is, you will have isolate each circuit till you find the leak. If you don't have a flow from the pump, then you will know that the pump is bypassing in itself. Please note, that I am not a White expert and just consider this information as helpful hints.

Yesterday i removed all the valves i could get to found nothing wrong.I don't have a flow meter, but i guess i could use a hydrolic moter plus a gage and shut off valve. There are no dealers(white) within 3 hour drive, so i try to do stuff myself.thanks for the reply.

If you have a John Deere dealer closer, you might try and get one of their mechanics to look at the White. John Deere has the same type of hydraulic system on their tractor.

Had a real hydraulic problem with one of the older JD tractors one time and had a fellow come in to my store and mentioned that he had been a John Deere mechanic for 30 years. So I thought I would ask him about the problem I had. As soon as I said hydraulic problem, he raised his hand up as if to stop traffic and said, "I don't touch hydraulics on John Deeres". That was all I got out of him.

So, good luck. Hope you find your problem.

I think i have it solved for now . I have run 2 days without overheating. The preasure relief had very little push on the spring so i added some washers.I allso lowered the pump preasure to 1600.I still don't know if there is another leak,i just see that its working.
