They use High pressure oil to pressurize the injector instead of a rocker arm. An Electronic selenoid activates the injection, and is controlled by computer or Ecm. International trucks uses this same injector in the 444E or powerstroke engine and the DT466E engine. These injectors hate water and are very expensive. About $350 each to replace. Cat makes so many different engines that a specific engine # would be helpful. Sorry I did not see a personal email option in the window.
