The 401 engine is solid. Turbocharged and intercooled. The dual power has been solid on all of our ford's. We have a 9000, 8700, and a TW30.

The PTO break band is a weak link as well as the PTO drive spline on the flywheel. Idle the tractor down before turning off the PTO will prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the PTO break band.
