I ran out of gas on my Belarus 400A and can't remember how to prime the diesel fuel injection system. I tried the hand pump but if I remember correctly I have to loosen a couple lines to bleed the air. Any help out there? Thanks Matthew |

| | Follow the line out of the primer pump, it should go to the filter(s). Follow the line from the filter(s) to the injector pump and loosen that connection. Pump the primer until fuel comes out and then retighten the connection. Pump some more to get the fuel into the injector pump and tractor should start. You may have to bleed off the injector lines once it starts. If I remember correctly you have decompression lever on that engine and you should use it to persuade the motor to start. Remember 2 things: 1)it may take ALOT of pumps to get fuel to the injector pump and 2)if it doesn"t feel like your primer pump is pumping, it probably isn"t and you may have to replace it. Those things rust up and stop working if they are not used a few times a year. -Leon |
