Modern Tractor Discussion Board Topic: Re: Ford TW35 [Show Entire Topic] [Return to Forum] Author [expand] [Modern View] oj 10-07-2009 15:20:24 67.201.142.185 20895 Report to Moderator it can be done (apparently), neighbour had an early TW35 that was changed to a 540 shaft, i believe he got parts from a Ford 9700, and fitted them, he only had 540 mind, if he wanted to change back it required the rear end to be torn apart to get to the gears inside. I"m not sure, but did a TW 5 or 10 have both speeds of PTO (requiring the shaft to be changed?), if they did, you might be able to fit a rear housing from one of those tractors... you might want to try this on the Ford page...
