Hi there:
I am looking at buying a used Jacobsen Turfcat T422D Kubota Diesel .It has 2511 hours on it. The engine is a Kubota D950 that has I think 19 hp. I am wondering what stage on average would this engine be at , that is is it close to a rebuild typically, or is the average rebuild at 5000 hours. Thanks...Chris

Got one with 5500 still runs good. Got another with 1900 that is toast. Don't ever get it hot and keep the oil changed and no telling how many hours you can get.If it starts good with short glow plug time it is probably in good shape.

What Dave said. If this unit was run by some highschool kid who didn"t care than it"s probly 500 hrs over due. If run by a grounds keeper who took care of the equipment than probly just broke in.
