Modern Tractor Discussion Board Topic: Typical hours to rebuild on Kubota diesel engine [Return to Forum] Author [expand] [Modern View] Chrisgreenman 10-16-2009 07:51:42 207.35.6.2 20914 Report to Moderator Hi there: I am looking at buying a used Jacobsen Turfcat T422D Kubota Diesel .It has 2511 hours on it. The engine is a Kubota D950 that has I think 19 hp. I am wondering what stage on average would this engine be at , that is is it close to a rebuild typically, or is the average rebuild at 5000 hours. Got another with 1900 that is toast. If this unit was run by some highschool kid who didn"t care than it"s probly 500 hrs over due.
