From what you have said, Not getting along with the green guy is the best plus you got here so no loss.
I got guys run all colors i know. Kubota seems to be getting popular from reading what guys say here, and see around in some areas. You got to listen around your area/ ask guys what they run and about problems, and see who has the best product for your job. Looks after customers the best. It"s no good buying the best tractor in the world, and the back up is useless when it quits or the warranties out.
I would just see if you can demo them and make a choice based on what you like and want to spend. Also now you got to watch this smurf pee (DEF) emmission control motors, I hear from most guys this stuff is unreliable and expensive. Some guys round here are paying premiums for good used tractors before this came in, so they don't have the added expenses when the warranty is out. Heard of a $5000 out of warranty muffler the other day. Another guy had a $1000 call out to reset the computor system as the New Holland didn't like running on Co-op DEF fluid.
Regards Robert
