Not owing a 250, but have a 420A, not able to look it up but i would suggest that you adjust all three fingers to some distance from the pressure plate contact point, for example adjusting bolt head, some "X" distance from the plate or flywheel.
then tighten each adjusting in the same amount either by counting bolt flats? or measuring with a caliper of some sort.Also consider the throw out bearing adjustment, not touching/turning when the clutch pedal is up[ as in tractor moving] about a .500/.750 of slack in pedal movement, until you feel the bearing coming against the fingers.
Turn the fingers in until just about to touch the clutch plate, but not lifting the plate.
