Parked tractor on a side slope, noticed leakage of oil on wheel. Came from the axle. How big a job to repair?

It"s not a huge job but not a small job either... as noted, unbolt the cab and axle then pull the whole axle trumpet out. If it"s the right side watch out for the differential as it can fall once the sun shaft clears it... then you gut the brakes out and remove the axle shaft retainer. Push the works out and pull the bearing. You need a big separator and a hub puller with some redi-rod to get the bearing off, change the seal... reverse the procedure. I usually heat the bearing and drop it in place. Make sure you carefully observe the torque spec on the axle retainer. Do not overtorque...

Thanks for the details. I am afraid its too big a job for my ability. I need to keep spreading manure and retrieving firewood. Snow this weekend. Again, thank you for saving me from myself!
