These three 4 wheel drive models all share the same chassis. All three use the same 12.5x24 front wheels and tires but all three use different size rears. 14.9x28, 16.9x28, and 16.9x30. How can they use different size rears and not screw up the front assist gearing? There is a visible difference in rear tire height on these.

I just heard back from Kubota factory service rep and he said the M6040 and the M7040 both share the same gear ratio of 1.52706 so the difference in the 28 inchers and the 30 inchers must not be enough to strain the front wheel drive.

My M7040 came with 9.5X24 & 16.9X30 tires. Tires are
matched by trans & R/P ratios not physical frame size.
