Is there a rim spinning in the tire?

I checked that. It is a brand new tire and they painted it up with some kind of goo when the mounted it on the rim. All the dried goo marks match up so if it spun it returned to exactly the same place. I should add that I was pushing pretty hard with the blade when it lost power to the rear wheels but I didn't feel or hear anything pop. Its the right side that seems to be slipping. The same side the differential lock is on. If I am on loose dirt the rear end veers to the right before it stalls with the engine racing because the power is going to the right wheel. It is not a problem on flat ground and requires considerable torque before slipping.
