I have swapped tires on my Fords numerous times and never had to dismount, turn around and remount tires. Just move the tire/wheel assy from one side to the other of the tractor when you want to change the spacing.

I bought a Branson 2400 and wanted more stability on hills. I'm running a 5' rotary mower (hog) and I had room for 4 ½ " on each side and still keep my tires in the mowed grass. I built this out of ¼" plate and 4" pieces of 8", ¼" wall pipe.

Local machine shop cut the 4 plates for a hundred bucks. REALLY makes a difference on hills.

For your sized tractor I would suggest ? or ½ material.
