I am looking for a 40-50 HP tractor and have found 2 nearby, however am unfamiliar with either pieces of equipment. Curious if anyone has had experience with a Mccormick GX50 or a Massey 1547? Wondering if they are pretty solid pieces of equipment, what typically goes wrong with them, problems to look for before purchasing, etc.

The McCormick has a Perkins 3 cylinder engine so it should be good. The transmission is hydrostatic and I have little knowledge about them.

I did a little sleuthing about the MF. The Iseki diesel is supposed to be very good. Some may have some QC issues on the pto. The rest I don't know.
