I have a 2001 21.5hp Craftsman lawn tractor, model # 917.272454. A local reseller is trying to get ride of a 45" MTD 2-stage snowthrower attachment (model # 190-624, S/N 1G257J20014) for lawn/graden tractors. The obvious question is, Will the MTD snowthrower fit (or retrofit) on my Craftsman lawn tractor?? I've been trying to locate manuals for both before I buy and try, but I'm not having much luck. Does anyone have any knowledge in this area? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The reseller's price is too good to pass up, even it I have to retrofit somehow. Thanks for any advice.
