I am considering the purchase of a 35 to 45 hp Branson or Terraplane 4x4 tractor w/ loader.
Does anyone have experience with either of these units. Comments and suggestions please.
Thanks to all.

We are also looking at the Terraplane 45 hp tractor. This will be our first tractor purchase since we purchased our ranch 4 years ago. Has anyone reading this owned or used this tractor? It looks and sounds great, and of course the price is amazing, but we would like to hear from someone who had used one.

Branson is built in Korea by Kukje. Kukje builds some John Deere as well. (The Century tractor is the same as Branson). From what I've seen and heard, the Branson is a good little tractor.

The Terraplane is built in China by Dong Feng or Futian (now called Foton). Several companies are importing these tractors under various names. Parts would be available for this reason. Quality? Getting better. I've personally never seen one around here.

Stay away!! I got screwed by an outfit in Sprindale, Ar. on a Terraplane. It is 2 years old and is parked and not running. The company would not fix the tractor and then went out of business. I am in the process of trying to find the individuals who sold me the tractor. It is the sorriest peice of machinery that one can buy!!!
