I am looking at several 9270 Case IH four-wheel drive tractors. There are several transmission options, including 12 sp. manual and several power shift options. What are the reputations and advantages of each of these options as well as anything else to look at on this tractor? What is the value of this 4-wd?

Can you say power hop? In heavy tillage the one we HAD would get to hopping so bad,you couldn't get your foot on the clutch.Dealer played with weight, tire pressures, even changed all 12 tires to a different brand, no luck.Would only do it on the chisel plows on hard ground.Pulling the harrow and a packer it was OK.

We bought a 9270 a few years ago and it is equiped with a powershift transmission and it has always been reliable.
