We have a 1978 1270 and love this tractor. The only thing is that when we raise implements up the tractor hydraulics almost yank our 20 ft field cultavator into the air! Same goes for anything else hooked up to it. What do we need to do to slow down the lift on the hydraulics.

It seems to me the only way to change the pressure is to add or remove shims in the pump. I may be wrong though. Other than that I don't think you can change the pressure.

i had the same thing with 90 series had to put adjustable flow control on the hose not much bigger than the hose end just take end off hose screw the flow control on replace end trial an error to adjust .

The 90 series did have a flow control on the left side of the tranny just behind the steps.
