I have always fixed them myself with factory parts and rebuilt the top cover on the ranges tranmission at a local machine shop . Most of the time it is a problem with wore out headed pins loose as i call them cub cadet tie rod end broken rollers under the top cover wore out halfmoon keys and the biggy OUT OF ADJUSTMENT DUMP VALVE TRANS BRAKE AND CLUTCH FREE PLAY> .
