Thank you again for the reply. I took the starter in to the starter/alt. shop and they told me the starter checked good. They said we bumped it over many times.I bet they went straight to the main term on the starter and not through the sol.I am going to take a #12 wire and go straight from the ign. switch to the sol. on the starter and if I turn the ign switch to the start position it should engage the starter. Will this let me know if the sol. works or not? I will make sure that the tractor is in the netural position with both shifts and I will lock both brakes because I know I am buypassing all the safety switches. I will change the batt. sensor tomorrow. I told my wife last week that I don,t think the alt. is working properly. That sensor is no doubt the problem.Thankyou again, I will let you know what I come up with.
