If it doesn't seem to be charging, then that will be the problem, but make sure you charge the battery with a battery charger for a good 2-3 hours. Ours did the same thing, volts read good, but no amps, if you charge it now, that should keep you from losing a cell. Also, you may not believe this, but that temperature sensor for out series II is about $70, just for probably a bimatalic strip coated in rubber, but you have to go through newholland to get it, there aren't any aftermarket parts for that. May be able to get the temperature checked at the alternator shop so you don't waste $70. Also, may want to check the brushes in the alternator, the starter should be fine since it tested good. If it is a lucus alternator, there are 2 or 3 screws that screw on a trapizoid plate, and when you pull it out, the brushes will come out, but it may be easier to let the alternator shop test the alternator with their machine they have for those. Good luck and let me know how it turns out. Just make sure you get that battery on the charger asap for a good while, and it will probably be better to go low amps for a long time on the charge.
