Seeing Red!

Posted by Larry on January 30, 2005 at 05:10:35 from (209.71.222.80):

I have a CaseIH 5130 Maxxum (switched from green to red last year). In cold weather after starting, hydraulics work OK for a minute then become very slow, shaky and extremely noisy like the pump is starved for oil. This affects steering, loader, 3pth and has affected forward/reverse shuttle. The oil level is up, and the filter was replaced. The manual refers to a "strainer screen" but I can't locate one on mine. Anyone else had problems like this or have advice?
