Posted by John Holscher on February 27, 2005 at 04:49:14 from (68.9.244.173):

I going to be buying a new tractor and need some advice on what type of tires would be best suited to my needs. I operate a garden center where we farm just a few acres of vegetables, I will be using the tractor/loader to plow snow on a gravel parking lot, I'll be using the loader with a quick attach pallet fork to load/unload pallets of potting soil etc... and I'll be using the loader to turn compost piles as well as load trucks with bulk mulch and compost. I'll also be using the tractor with a rear mounted mower to mow about 3 acres of grass. The question is should I opt for Ag tires (R1) or Industrial tires(R4). Or are there other options I'm not aware of?
Thanks
