I have a Valby 6" that I run off a 45hp tractor.
Works great when properly adjusted and sharpen.
It pulls the branches in but wider branches can
be a bear to push through. I would only buy one
with the hydraulic feed now, makes the job a
breeze. Valby makes models that have a tank and
pump or it can run off your tractor hydraulics.
Chippers are expensive($4000 up)and the self-
feeders are 50% more at least. My Valby is well
built(Finland) and I am very pleased with it.
