When i bought my saw mill, i had it on my mind i wanted a skid steer. After looking around i had my CIH/Fendt/Massey dealer bring one out for a trial basis. I complained it got stuck too easy, so he had steel tracks on it in no time! I still didn't like it, as it wouldn't lift really big logs, and with the tracks it tore up the ground more than my dozer!! I felt bad that i didn't buy it, so i hauled it back to him. (50 miles) He had no problem with the fact that i wasn't happy with it.
He doesn't have any problem with me trying anything he has, as long as i'm interested in buying it. I wouldn't buy something like a tractor from a dealer who wouldn't let me try it on my place first!!
