I'm looking at a late 70's John Deere 300B loader backhoe. It has 6000 hours, runs good. The boom swings on loose bushings. Hydraulic fluid drips from backhoe hoses. Tach and other dash meters don't work. Tires are Okay. Lower tread, couple of weather cracks. Power steering in the console has a lot of play. I think the asking price is close to a decent value with the backhoe bushings and the steering play fixed. What would a shop charge for installing bushings? Whats the value of a 300B in working shape? How many hours do these guys wrack up?
