Machinery Forum JD 6200 [ Expand ] [ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ] Posted by chris johnson on April 30, 2001 at 08:19:21 from (209.240.220.203): I got this john deere about 3 yrs it was used 1800 hrs runs good but here recently keeps like slipping out of gear I will be going along start hearing grinding noise in the rearend then it slips out of gear an wont go no where i will let it cool off for about 30 min it will be alright for about an hour then it will do it again. i dont have JD dealership close by. But case dealer told me a gear going bad an john deere was bad about that any body else had this trouble or know how i can fix it.
