The older ones have a rotary fuel pump and the newer ones have in line. The cooling is better on the combine because we have never had cooling trouble. All of my 1480 have 466 and one is running at2810 rpm no load the rest at 2750. The one at 2810 rpm will run along with the neighbour 2188 most of the time unless it gets tough.
