tw35 dual powerPosted by jim in can on October 25, 2009 at 05:51:09 from (74.220.174.106):
Is it possible to replace the trans pump by removing the 3pt hitch tower and replacing it through the top or do I have to split the trans from the rear end? history- after re-tightening a valve seat in the proportioner valve body I went from no down shift to proper up and down shift but with poor holding power in the dual power-is worse when brakes applied, ideas? anyways back to my tw30 with no engine oil pressure, found pump idler gear flopping on shaft-retainer nut backed off! have new pump on order but first have to get bottom end redone and turbo also. these fords can be so much fun?
