I purchased a new John Deere 5105 40hp tractor last spring. It is a great tractor. I bush hog, cut hay, bale hay, move round bales. You name it and it does it. It does all I ask of it, and does it well. Far superior tractor to the Ford 3000 diesel it replaced. I prefer John Deere products. IMHO they are well built, quality machines. There are numerous dealers in my area for service or parts should that become necessary. Also, years down the road if you go to sell or trade your Deere will hold it's value better. Deere has several models available in the under 70hp market. The 5105 is part of the Advantage series, and offers a lot of tractor for the money.
