Talk to JD before you say their too expensive. It depends on the dealers but when I was looking at tractors recently I priced them all the same roughly 55pto hp, MFWD w/loader. NH-$25k, JD-$26k, Agco-$30k and Case-$30k. All the tractors were roughly the same as far as options and specs and I told all the dealers the same thing that I was looking at all the tractor brands. I bought the NH because my dealer is 3 miles away and the JD dealer is 30 miles away but have no complaints of the NH as it is an excellent tractor. JD makes great tractors and they are affordable. I priced out a 5300 when I was looking, at the time they didn't have the advantage series. But you will not go wrong with New Holland or John Deere and both companys will be here for a long time.
