I saw this post on another sight and thought you guys might want to comment....

"We talked to our local John Deere dealer today in Eastern New York State and they will be going to Albeqerque,New Mexico for the big product introduction.According to what we were told JD will be introducing the 9000 Ten Series,8000 20 series,6000 twenty series and a tractor series smaller then the advantage series.JD will have dealers in New Mexico between July 17th and August 1st.The 7000 Ten series will not be replaced because the new transmission is not ready for it yet.The new 8000-20 series will have a new transmission in it.It might be that stepless transmission tha JD currently has o9n theier tractors over in Europe.I find it hard to fathom the John Deere is going to shove the 8000 Ten series tractors out the door so quickly. This is so unlike JD to make large row-crop tractors for 2 years or less and then replace them. The only other time that I can think if JD doing this is with the 4320,4520, and the 4620 which were made for only 2 years each.I guess those MXs are better then JD is letting on.Also JD will be introducing a program called Frontier that will allow dealers to get more equipment from John Deere made by Woods. We feel that this is a mistake for JD to shove out the 8000 ten series out the door so quickly because the 8000 which preceded it was made for 5 years.Don t let the irony of JD returning to New Mexico be lost on you pepole. In 1996 this is the same area where John Deere revealed the the 9000 series,8000T series ,7000 Ten 100 big baler, the 4890 haybine, the 5 seies haybine and the 6 series round balers. The current JD offerings in has the potential to be the biggest tractor introductions in their company history.Their is a potential of 19 new tractors which John Deere could be introducing in New Mexico the next couple of weeks. Now we have also heard the John Deere will be introducing a 260 horsepower row-crop tractor.(the 8510 or 8520?), a 475 horsepower track tractor(the 9410T or 9510T?)I am sure that some JD dealers will have pictures out of New Mexico on their websites. This happened in 1999 when John Deere introduced the Rotary combines, the 9000T tractors and the 8000 Ten series in Moline.Pictures of that event were posted was posted at www.gti-bti.com.So Kelly Estes if you are reading this then please by all means do it again. This is Bucklin Tractor out of Kansas"
