JD 750 Fuel Shutoff ValvePosted by George Collins on August 15, 2001 at 18:52:26 from (12.90.161.155): Hello, I just purchased a JD 750 Compact (my first tractor). I was trying to change the fuel filter today but it seems that the shutoff valve isn't closing. With the lever in the straight up position (per Owner's Manual), I unscrewed the ring holding the sediment bowl. Before I could get it screwed back on, over a pint of fuel had run out. It is a common problem on 750s of this age (1988)? Can the valve be repair or does the whole filter unit have to be replaced? Thanks in advance,
