I'm a newbe tractor owner. I just purchased a John Deere 1050. I would like to add a JD manufactured front end loader. Most of the web sites I visited want to search by model number; I don't have the foggest notion of the loader model number to fit that tractor. Does anyone out there have access to that information? Should I fail to find a used JD loader for my tractor, I'll need to look at after market units, any idea what units are best and where they can be obtained?
I also just looked at this site for manuals. Apparently JD made at least two version of the 1050. Mine is a diesel 33hp, does this fall in the category of a compact utility tractor?
