Vineyard tractorPosted by Jon D on September 05, 2001 at 18:27:50 from (24.37.1.116):
At work, they have me running a brand new John Deere 75hp vineyard tractor. Since I'm the first to drive it, I guess I get to deal with all the problems. Fuel guadge doesn't work and someone already broke the lid off the plastic fuel tank. The biggest problem, however, I am haveing is when the PTO is running, an alarm goes off when the seat moves. I'm guessing it's a saftey to make shure you turn off the pto when you get out of the tractor. I have adjusted the seat, but that doesn't help. I need to read the operator's manual, but the owner has it even though he'll never run it (go figure). Can any of you help me? I think I'd be just as happy with a 2555 with the wheels moved in.
