In 1957 Landini reached an agreement to make Perkins engines under licence in Italy. In 1959 MF bought Perkins engines. Landini has been building tractors for Massey Ferguson since 1960 when they bought the Italian Fabricco Plant. This fact allowed MF to specialize in crawler tractors and orchard tractors. Landini also built conventional farm tractors that were sold in different European markets (Spain, for instance)under MF colours until the 80īs. The end of that decade involved MF selling Landini and Perkins. As everyone knows AGCO purchased MF in 1994.

Nowadays both Landini and MF use Perkins (that belongs to CAT) engines and Landini Globus range can be bought with MF decals. I donīt know whether small MFs are made by SDF group or Landini. Anyway cooperation between AGCO and SDF seems to evolve.

On the other hand I donīt think Deutz-Fahr combines are built by AGCO in Dronninborg. As far as I know Deutz-Fahr combine harvesters are made in German plants that belong to SDF Group.
