Bart, my 5105 is a 2WD model. I just don't need 4WD for my use. Although the dealer tried very hard to sell me a loader (many friends also thought I should get one also)I chose not to buy one. I just don't have enough use for one. I purchased my 5105 with double spool valves to control remote hydraulic cylinders, oversized tires, front bumper, and block heater. The tractor also had flexible lower link ends and draft control. It has an 8 speed synchronized reverse transmission. Not sure, those may be standard. When I purchased it the dealer assured me that as far at the motor and such it was identical to the higher priced 5210 model. The dealer said the 5210 had a 9 speed transmission rather than an 8 speed and a few more creature comforts. The dealer felt dollar for dollar the 5105 was a better value. So far I'm happy with the tractor. Some may think I paid too much, but I gave $17,000 for the tractor with options and also an AM-FM cassette radio installed. :-)
