Hi Matt!

The Hanomag tractors have been one of the brand with the best reputation in Germany over 50 years, they built the AGR 50, R40, R45,Perfect,Granit, Brillant and Robust, better than Lanz even so old, always on top of the time. In the mid50 they try to start building tractors with 2stroke Diesel engines, like the c 112, c 224
and Crawler-tractors up to 90 HP, but they had many problems with them, and they get financial trouble, they also built light trucks like the L28, Garant, Markant and Kurier, a lot of transport companies, live-stock traders and other's had them and they like them, Mercedes-Benz took them over when they were bankrupt.
Tractor plant was closed, then Komatsu take it over cause they also built construction machines.
I don't know if the 614 0r 634 had been built in Neuss, may be they are from england. 323, 423, 532, 624, 724 and 824 had been built in Neuss, also the 544, 644, 844, 946 and 1046 we had a lot of them here years ago. If I find a website with Hanomag, I send You the adress, take a look at.www.traktorbahnhof.de, I think, there You can find further informations, I know that You don't understand german, look only for "Hanomag", best with "lycos" and worldwide net, if You get problems with the language, contact me.
best Regards
