In the year 1972 David Brown Ltd. was acquired by Tenneco Inc. of Houston, and was affiliated to another Tenneco subsidiary, the JICase Company, Racine,Wisconsin. Under the Tenneco banner, David Brown Tractors and Case were actively and successfully coordinating and expanding their combined production, marketing and distribution facilities. DB Distributors and Dealers in Europe now offered selected machines form the Case company. 1985 Tenneco also bought IH. 1988 Case IH
made plant consolidations and the tractor production of DAVID BROWN in Meltham was unfortunately closed down, Josef
