244 IH clutch problems

My 244 IH (w/310 Hrs.) clutch quit dis-engaging
after setting only 1 day. The pedal still feels
the same w/wo the pedal return spring hooked up,
this makes me think the T/O bearing is depressing
the pressure plate. I've owned for past 6 years
& only used for mowing (60" Woods belly mower).
Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas
where to look?
Thanks, Kimp
