I'd go with something bigger than a compact myself. Used if you can handle the posibilities associated with them,new if you can not. Look into the Orchard & Vineyard tractors available out there. They give you big tractor power in a smaller size. By going with ag-tractor size you gain the choice of many more pieces of equipment that will work with your tractor. I agree with the part about Deere also. Do not be affraid of certain European brands either.
