Stan,
I'm in eastern Oklahoma.Right off-hand I don't know who the Krone dealer is in your area, but can find out, or you can call Krone in Memphis at 901-842-6011. Also, their web site is: www.krone-northamerica.com
The best way to check out a used fixed chamber baler is to open the bale chamber and check the main chamber chain and bars for tightness and wear.A quick check on an unopened baler can be done by grabbing one of the bars and pull to see how tight (or loose) it is.
General overall appearance is a good indicator of condition, also. If it looks abused--it probably has been. Faded paint and decals can be ignored.
A good dealer will guarrantee a used baler to work . If you are not buying from a reputable dealer and know nothing about round balers, it is probably a good idea to take someone with you who is.
