Re: 1594 Case infoPosted by David on February 02, 2002 at 07:28:32 from (213.254.186.208): In Reply to: 1594 Case info posted by Rick on January 01, 2002 at 13:21:10: Hello Rick, I own a 1988 1594 4wd, one of the last ones made. A very good tractor in their day. Really a David Brown tractor with their Hydra-Shift gearbox (of which I owned many). Just make sure that someone has changed the engine oil pump or else you will have a mess on your hands. Also keep gearbox oil clean by regularly changing it and the oil. On very frosty days let the tractor stand in the yard and change gear a few times whilst not under load just to warm things up a little. They don't like starting when it is very cold so make sure that the fuel heater works properly. Don't use the button, they like that even less ! Mail me for more help if you need it. David
