Yes, but I don't know if John Deere would allow them to fall into AGCO's hands. When I came across the Renault AG site a few years ago I had an epipheny similar to you when you saw the Valtras in that magazine. They looked then, and still do, to be the most well laid out and eye-pleasing tractor out there. That and they still have some virtue to them seeing as how they're still independent (ha, ha). I have checked the dealers in Quebec several times over the last few months but never see any used listings. Do they not sell many? As for as Uzel and Zetor...On Uzel's site they state that AGCO is the sole marketer of their tractors for export. Even though they wouldn't own them directly, AGCO would have a great deal of influence and control over Zetor if this deal goes through. Touche, John Deere... Landini seems like a good tractor. Besides, anyone who uses the Perkins and cooperates with AGCO has got be alright.....
