Running out of soilPosted by PoppinJohnny on September 26, 2000 at 17:08:48 from (205.188.193.161):
I live in the Lansing Michigan area. In one year, I'd say about 200 acres of farmland has been tuned into a Lowes, a Wal Mart, and a few others. Although our yields are much higher than they use to be, I don't see how it would make up fot the lost land. This ain't just happening in my area, either. What would we do if we ran out of enough land for the world's food?
