Mainly because the local Kubota dealor is a Mega-Dealor with sales lots all over the Dallas/Fort Worth/North Texas area and I understand customer service is marginal. I have a good working relationship with these folks and they are great people to do business with. I am a local individual dealor and have a large shop with good quality mechanics. I also have a pretty good inventory of tractors and parts and try to keep from 20 to 30 new tractors on the lot at all times. I know Kioti does make a great product and our prices are lower than a comprobable Kubota. Kubota and Kioti both make quality products and we work on lots of Kubota tractors in the shop. Are they catching on? Yes, in my area and the distributor recently ran out of 3054 (30 hp, 4x4) tractors because they did not antisipate the demand. I sell more Kioti than any other tractor and I carry Kioti, Zetor, Century, Landini, Tafe and Ursus. Donald M.
