Need help with Case 1394 -84 hydrashift.Posted by Mathias (Swede) on February 27, 2002 at 07:43:36 from (194.23.92.70): I wonder if you could help me with my Case 1394 -84 problem. The tractor started to slip on the clutch so i had the local shop replace the clutch but when i picked it up and put the tractor to load it was still slipping. Then the shop told me that the problem was likely to be the hydrashift transmission but they had no idea of how it was operating. If i understood it correctly then each gear in the hydrashift has its own "clutch", could this be my problem and if so do you think that there is any "oil additive" that can fix the problem?? Since the tractor is only slipping under heavy load the problem must be in the "beginning" and maybe something can be done to prevent it from further breaking down. Can you describe more on how the hydrashift is operating?? Please excuse my bad english since i come from Sweden. Thank you very much in advance, hopefully you can take a few miutes to help me.... Best regards / Mathias Aberg
