My brother had a 830 similiar to mine and he echoes my opinion. I purchased a new roll bar from the JD dealer. I "know" the new one is fabricated for my tractor and engineered to withstand a rollover. I use my tractor for bush hogging (7 foot bush hog) about 40 acres, 2 times a year and to pull an 8' drag and an 8' wheel disk for pasture renovation. These disks would be too large for plowed or tilled soil.
