I will be able to tell you about the fender placement on the tractor this weekend and perhaps I can send a photo. If you want that, I will need an e-mail address. The 830 is a perfect tractor for me. The body shows a bit of wear and tear but, mechanically it operates perfectly. My brother had a 830 similiar to mine and he echoes my opinion. I purchased a new roll bar from the JD dealer. I "know" the new one is fabricated for my tractor and engineered to withstand a rollover. I use my tractor for bush hogging (7 foot bush hog) about 40 acres, 2 times a year and to pull an 8' drag and an 8' wheel disk for pasture renovation. These disks would be too large for plowed or tilled soil.
