Before doing anything as rash as a new engine, I would take the head to a machine shop and have it magna fluxed (checked for cracks) and have the surface checked. If it has become warped, a new gasket will not do the trick, a little machining AND a new head gasket will usually do the trick though. If this is the whole story, tis really makes me angry, it is the type of shoddy service that gives dealers a bad name. Pete
